My husband and I are rehoming our blue tick beagle. His name is Duke. He is 50/50 blue heeler and beagle. He is intact. He is a double Merle. We have had him for his whole life. He moved with us from Florida. We have struggled to find housing eventually settling on a fifth wheel and we have tried making that work for 4 months but it is just not enough space for Duke. We are looking for a loving home for him. Preferably being the only dog but he has been raised around other animals. Dogs and cats. He has also been raised with children but as any heeler he can be a little mouthy. He loves love. And going on walks. He has a habit of pulling especially with a harness but he does very well with a gentle lead. He is house broken and sometimes crated. It breaks our hearts to have to rehome him but the lifestyle we have now is not fair to him. We’d prefer to maintain contact even if it’s just a picture here an there.
