Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, WA based Laser Cleaning Service is seeking a full time operator. Duties: Set-up, operate, and maintain laser-cleaning machines; while maintaining safety standards to coincide with OSHA requirements. Essential functions: • Operate 200 watt to 2000 watt fiber laser cleaner. Sets up Machines proficiently for each job. Inspects machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances. Keeps quality records for each job. Operate pressure washer on parts as necessary. Keeps machinery and tooling in good working order, according to daily, weekly, & monthly maintenance schedule. Presentable appearance and maintains personal tooling in a way that is clean and organized. General maintenance keep a clean, organized and safe work area. Ability to converse with clients politely and professionally as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Current driver’s license, including copy of drivers record. Basic math/computer skills. Willing to learn new things as needed. Reliability/Punctuality! Ability to problem solve and think on your feet. Able to set up one-off parts efficiently & without supervision. Able to work independently, responsibly, & reliably. Must pass Drug Test including marijuana prior to hire. Must have effective communication skills, conceptual skills, and technical skills. Attention to detail. Forklift experience a plus but will be trained.
