Boston University scientists have DEVELOPED a new, DEADLIER strain of Covid in their lab - a wildly irresponsible experiment with the potential to spark a lab-created pandemic [again]. What went down? The scientists basically took the original, deadlier Wuhan strain of Covid as their base and added to it the spike protein from the Omicron, which makes it more contagious. The spike protein is what allows the virus to bind to and invade human cells. The result was a virus that killed 80% of the mice in their study. By comparison, the mice only experienced mild symptoms when exposed to just Omicron. The scientists caveat their findings, saying it would be much less deadly in humans because the type of mice they used are more susceptible to Covid than humans. Back up: This type of risky virus manipulation is how many [myself included] believe Covid was originally created in the Wuhan lab - not from a wet market bat. Boston University's National Emerging Infectious Diseases Lab is one of just 13 biosafety level 4 labs in the U.S. These labs are where researchers work with dangerous diseases like Ebola. This lab gets its funding from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases which is run by one other than Dr. Anthony Fauci....shocker.
