Newly started instrumental post rock band seeks bassist to complete trio... *Ideal candidate is in their 20s-40s, probably has other commitments but is a passionate fan of this music *Basic knowledge of music theory and harmony preferred... that means: - knowing the names of the notes and the chords you can play on your instrument - knowing what basic time signatures, including some common odd metered ones for this style such as 5/8 and 7/8 *Have your own instrument and source of amplification, DUH *Open to older members, but...... *Deep familiarity with the style is essential Practice/Rehearsal cadence of 2-4x per month, with chatting and sharing ideas in between Examples........
