Wanted: People who like working with their hands, cleaning, fixing and making things better. at our Family Owned Business is doing good and we have Several open positions at many locations across the valley at an Equipment Rental company. Positions available Valley Wide - including Central Phoenix and Gilbert Formal Training or prior experience as a Mechanic but not needed for a Service Tech but is a plus for higher starting pay. Individuals with prior general Yardman, Landscaping, Construction, Auto Repair, Rental or other general Maintenance and Repairs work history are usually a good fit for this job as individuals raised on a Farm or Ranch environment or even working on your own motorcycles, cars SERVICE TECHS: We have a position at Avondale, Central Phoenix, North Phoenix and Gilbert Locations. Service Techs, Clean and do minor maintenance of equipment getting it ready to rent again. They also help customers load and unload equipment and teach them how to use equipment. We will train you what you need to know if you don't already know. The more you already know sets starting wage but see below for SERVICE TECHS can start anywhere from $16.00 to $18.00 an hour depending on your experience You will receive 3 REVIEWS / RAISES in your first 15 months of work. (2 RAISES IN YOUR FIRST 7 MONTHS so you can easily be at $20 then if you are truly Mechanically inclined and able to learn how to fix and operate the various equipment. This great program allows you to get raises quickly as you grow and learn how to operate and fix more things. Those that can do more, get good raises as well as you can get PROMOTED to a Lead Service Tech position, a Supervisor Position and also have Counter Sales and Manager positions. Do know that you usually work 4 ten hour days and get 3 days off but you do work often on Saturday (busiest day for home rentals). MECHANICS: 2 small engine mechanic positions and one Diesel Mechanic Positions open in our shops. Mechanics work Monday thru Friday, 8 hours a day usually 8:00 to 5:00 (40 hours GUARANTEED, occasional overtime when busy or short-handed. Starting pay for our shop is $22 to $24.00 an hour and....... You get 3 reviews/raises in your first 15 months (2 in your first 7 months) Plus.... You get good health care, 6 paid holidays, 10 days paid time off in your first year which you earn Monthly and Other Benefits too We hire both Mechanics who have learned on the job over the years as well as Individuals that have less experience but appropriate Mechanical Training (Individuals who have Certificate from MMI (small engines) or ATI, AAI or other accredited school in Diesel engines/hydraulics, etc.) Depending upon how much experience and what Certificates/Training you have, Class A or D DRIVER/Service Tech at their North Phoenix and Gilbert Location too We have one full time Driving jobs where you deliver Equipment or Party Rental stuff but you also do some Service Tech Work when not driving (cleaning and doing minor Maintenance on Equipment) Start at $18.00 for class D and up to $24.00 for a class A an hour depending upon driving experience/Mechanical abilities. Again, you will receive 2 raises in your first 7 months and a 3rd six months after that. GREAT BENEFITS as noted above come with this job TOO.
