Lazy, cheap and stupid is no way to go through life

America has some really smart, inventive people. We come up with all kinds of cool stuff and people want and need. American engineers and inventors are constantly creating new and innovative things to make our lives better/easier/safer, etc. In the early 1900's, we took all that intelligence and coupled it with hard work, to create the Industrial Age. America became the strongest and richest nation on Earth, because we were smart and hard workers. We were unstoppable. UNFORTUNATELY, we have gotten CHEAP and LAZY in our old age, as we have ceded manufacturing to other countries. Oh, we still have smart people who invent stuff, but their designs are shipped off to China mostly, so the products can be made cheaper. We design it, then we give them our design secrets, then they make it and sell it back to us. We have gone from being a manufacturing nation, to a consumer nation. This is why America is losing in the world economy right now. China is eating our lunch every day and they will soon be the #1 economy in the world, if they aren't already. Americans designed the windmills that provide clean energy across the country. We sold those designs to China, who now make windmills and sell them to us. Here's one small problem with that: A while back, the state of Wyoming bought a bunch of windmill generators, made in China. Before the windmills were assembled, it was discovered that they were full of electronic surveillance equipment. The Chinese were going to use those windmills to spy on us. Those windmill parts are still sitting in a field, never put together. Huge waste of time and money. You can bet those windmills are not the only products that China puts surveillance equipment in. We have placed ourselves into a terrible situation, globally. We need to stop being lazy and cheap, get back to making things ourselves and keeping more business and jobs in America. It might be a little more expensive to buy American, but it'll be worth it in the long run. Here's what we've been doing to ourselves: We shut down a sheetrock company in Nevada years ago and started buying sheetrock from China. -- China sold us radioactive sheetrock. We farmed out our toothpaste manufacturing to China. China sold us toothpaste with anti-freeze in it. We don't make kids toys anymore, they all come from China. China sold us kids toys painted with lead paint. China sold us poisonous dog food. China produces the Fentanyl that is coming across our southern border and killing 100,000 Americans every year. And don't forget China gifted the world with covid-19 and then they covered it up and lied about it. These are just a few of the things they do to us. Why do we trust them so much? Why do we do business with them? The only way for Americans to get back our safety and security, is to stop being cheap and lazy. Quit buying garbage from China and giving them all our business. Start making or own stuff, once again.
