Full time Installer/Driver needed! We are an award-winning and well-respected small company which specializes in tropical plants and flowers. We do projects of many sizes and types, including office plants, atriums, moss walls, hotels, botanical art, and exterior landscaping throughout Chicagoland. This is a full-time position, though part-time positions may be considered. Pay will start at $17 hourly with opportunity to advance. A clean driving record is required. Our primary vehicles are a Ford F350 box truck and a Ford Transit 150 van, and experience driving larger vehicles or performing deliveries is a plus. This job requires professionalism, motivation, reliability, and teamwork - you will be working with a partner for most tasks. The work is physical – when not driving, it requires walking, carrying of materials (floral arrangements, tropical plants, etc.), loading/unloading, pushing carts, bending, and planting. You must be able to lift 60 lbs. Any experience with horticulture, landscaping, or plants is a plus but not a requirement - there will be training included. We offer a healthcare plan, paid holidays, and paid vacation after one year of employment. We do not require work outside of your schedule, though extra work at overtime rates may be offered.
