Anyone up for starting a band that is NOT classic rock? Nothing against it, but been there overdone that and then some... I am a seasoned bassist/rhythm guitarist/drummer...with pro gear lead/backup vocalist looking to start something or join something not so typical to the area. maybe a mix of Alternative 80's (Cure, Smiths, INXS etc) but throw in some Sublime, 311, Dave Matthews, Coldplay, anything upbeat! open to any and all ideas of course... SOMETHING DIFFERENT! Stuff I would actually want to go see! Not Fossil Rock... A mix of the "best of" Would come together quick if players are ego-less and quality players...
