Sky Power Solar is a San Ramon based solar installation company for the last 20 years and is immediate need of an experienced Operations Manager for permanent full time employment. Ideal candidate is someone located in the East Bay that has a background in construction, solar, battery, electrical or other relevant experience. This position is hands-on and requires ACTIVE daily management and leadership of the projects, staff. The person in this position must have the skill set to manage, motivate and communicate with all the members of the team, including installation crews, sub-contractors, vendors, as well as directly with customers. Problem solving, good verbal and written communication, the ability to prioritize daily tasks and the willingness and ability to address and resolve issues in a timely, mutually beneficial and calm professional manner are all essential skills that a person in this position must have. The solar industry will be expanding rapidly over the course of the next few years, and this candidate must have a passion for the chance to learn the most cutting edge technologies directly under the tutelage of the owner (who will be the direct supervisor). The key responsibilities of this position include: • The Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of a project post-sale and is the key point of contact between sales staff, the client, permitting, PG&E and is responsible for preparation of project plans, management of work in progress, schedules, management of the coordination of the project engineering and technical support staff and management of project scope. • Maintaining regular, comprehensive and timely communications with customers regarding job status; • Coordinating with vendors • Supervision of and coordination with the on site installation team; • Coordination of communication within our organization to ensure timely job progress and completion • Ensuring complete customer satisfaction with our quality products and timely communication. • Requires knowledge of project management and experience with of electrical, solar, battery storage projects, including other disciplines required for completion of such projects, including Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Services, CAL-OSHA, and Permitting. Valid California Driver's license with a clean record is required. Location: San Ramon Schedule: Full-time M-F Full benefits. All Major paid holidays 401k, match, Profit sharing.
