Retiree here

Description

I am retired, after working for 50 years in the service industry. Most of my life has been dedicated to helping other people. I never got rich, but my work was very satisfying, nonetheless. Being retired has its challenges, and the biggest challenge is living on a fixed income. My budget is pretty tight most of the time, I don't have a lot of extra money for travelling, going out, eating expensive meals, etc. I live simply and quietly, and because my life was spent helping other people, I don't want to be a burden on anyone. Right now, just living my life is costing about $350 / month more than it did 18 months ago. The new raise in social security coming up will get me about $150 per month. So, I'll still be $200 in the hole, compared to 2 years ago. You can obviously see the problem here. My budget was tight before, but now it's ridiculous. I no longer have the ability to make a bunch of extra money on the side, so I'm pretty much stuck. Do me a favor: Please vote responsibly this November. Vote with your brain instead of your emotions. It's not all about "red team/blue team" anymore. Our elections are not a team sport; this is about the survival of America and our way of life. You want to know why Biden is now deporting Venezuelans? Because Venezuelans are running away from Socialism, while the Democrats are trying to bring it to America. The Democrats fear that Venezuelan immigrants will vote for Conservatives, so now they're being deported. Pay attention.
