Cullen is a young guy who loves attention. He's done well with other dogs and has settled in well at the shelter. He does appear to be hearing impaired but he is so in tuned with his humans that's it's hard to tell. Cullen would love a family that will toss him the ball and take him for walks. If you're willing to toss him some grilled chicken every once in a while, that would be a bonus! An adoption counselor will be in contact with you following the submission of your application. If approved, they will arrange a meet and greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake or at our shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS dogs are spayed/neutered, and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
