Samhain, Halloween, Day of the Dead. Celebrate and acknowledge the cycle of life, death and the timeless nature of the ancestral realm. We come together in circle to ground and center into our hearts, connect cosmically through guided sound journey and to honor those who have passed through sacred remembrance. The last days of October into November have significance throughout Europe, Central and South America as a time to honor the dead. Visiting familial burial sites with food and flowers is one way to honor and show respect to deceased relatives; another traditional practice is to commune with an Ancestral Altar.
This workshop will set you up to create and work with an Ancestral Altar in your home for the period of Oct. 31-Nov 2.We will work with several altars: A central altar that will ground us as a group experiencing ceremony together. The altar of the heart which we will access through a drum journey.A personal altar which you will each create and and then replicate in your home.
