Since 2016, Project Giving Kids has been providing unique opportunities every fall for youth to Create the Change® in their communities. Special sessions for PGK youth/families are being held throughout Create the Change® Week 2022 taking place November 13-19. Head over after school and join our partner School on Wheels Massachusetts to sort school supply donations, pack backpacks and/or help prepare winter wellness kits for homeless and at-risk students across Massachusetts. FAQsIs there a minimum age requirement? Parents can decide if they feel their child is old enough for the responsibilities required for this activity, but kids of all ages are welcome, and those under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A waiver and photo release is part of this registration process which must be signed off on by a parent or guardian for everyone under age 18. Do I need a ticket to enter the event and is there a limit on attendance? Yes. All participants need to have an individual ticket, AND SPACE IS LIMITED TO 12 (TWELVE) FOR THIS EVENT. Please only secure a ticket if you are 100% committed to coming. That said, we know that plans change, so if yours do, please cancel your ticket through Eventbrite (or email us at [email protected]) at least 3 days in advance, if possible, so we can give someone else the chance to get involved! Do I need to print my ticket(s) in advance? No. Simply have your auto-generated tickets ready on your phone at check-in. What are my parking options at the event? Free parking is available on site at the facility. What can I bring to the event? Participants are welcome to bring encouraging notes for the backpacks , extra NEW school supplies and/or origami bookmarks for the students.
