Description

Please join RDC and Hoot and Holler Stories curator Lee Hunsaker for this FREE supportive, inspiring, and nurturing story sharing and writing workshop. When we think of self-care, we often forget that allowing ourselves time to honor our own stories within a safe and supportive community can be a vital way to cultivate connection. In this lively interactive workshop, Lee will guide us in utilizing thought-provoking and creative writing prompts in order to encourage participants to delve deeper into our own stories. Stories are what connect us as human beings. Sharing our human experiences can make us feel less alone, more empowered, and more confident in standing in our own truths. Lee’s mission in this workshop is to foster a safe and welcoming dialogue wherein we begin the process of unearthing our very own story nuggets and tracing the paths that have brought us to the place where we stand here and now. Please note that absolutely zero writing experience is required for this workshop. This is about heart and truth, not grammar and punctuation. All you need to bring is a juicy notebook, your favorite writing implement, and your wide open heart.
