Author Mike Soucy will discuss all things touring in The Park. He'll discuss what went into building his new book and map, how he decided what zones and routes to cover, and most importantly, how skiers can use his new book and map to help them plan for a successful tour. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A, book signing, and all around festive atmosphere. Come celebrate the completion of this huge project and decades of work with Mike and Beacon Guidebooks! IFMGA Mountain Guide Mike Soucy is a lifelong skier and avid climber who has frequented Rocky Mountain National Park for 25 years. Winter and spring often find him searching for sheltered powder turns, exploring the lesser-visited corners of the Park, or just taking a quick lap at Hidden Valley. The Park is often the training ground where he and his guests prepare for trips to the Alaska Range, Canadian Rockies, or European Alps. Mike strives to be a reliable resource for route beta and conditions, as well as a trusted partner and mentor to his friends and students in the mountains.
