Puppy needing home

I have a border collie mix puppy born end of June needing a home. No fault of his own. My older female dog after months of trying is not taking to him at all. It's cold to have either outside.. he has is crate trained and will use a pad. Will go outside when brought out. He had all shots but rabies. He isn't fixed and been flea treated I want to find him a forever home. Not a rescue or shelter he a great dog and I hate to do this but I'm afraid my older dog will end up hurting him
