Mil-Tree Presents: In Honor of All Veterans and Celebrating Veterans Day: Pot Luck and Veterans Journey Home film: On Black Mountain at the beautiful Furstwurld. 5 pm: Pot Luck - Bring your favorite dish to share 7 pm: Viewing of Veteran’s Journey Home film: On Black Mountain followed by Q and A with the director Frederick Marx Donations of $10 are accepted but no one will be turned away; Veterans and Active-Duty Free This film might trigger you, especially if you have served in the armed forces and have PTS or Moral Injury. Please take whatever precautions you need to protect yourself. That said, the purpose of this film is to help people heal from PTS, Moral Injury, and related symptoms. Our understanding, based on science, is that if trauma can be discussed openly and transparently it can be healed. Our intention is to spotlight the way forward into post-traumatic growth.
