Description

LOCATION: HARMONY HALL AT THE JOSHUA TREE RETREAT CENTER This is a Meditation Class. Primordial Sound Meditation, or PSM, is a healing practice that allows us to experience inner calm and deep relaxation. If you’d like to start or deepen a meditation practice, there is no time like the present to begin. Primordial Sound Meditation is rooted in ancient Vedic Teachings of India and similar to Transcendental Meditation (T.M.) Although it is called Primordial Sound Meditation, it is done silently with eyes closed. After this class you will have a meditation you can do daily if you wish. For thousands of years, people have used meditation to move beyond the mind’s busy activity and emotional turbulence into profound peace and expanded awareness. In the age of digital devices, social media, and busy schedules, the restful awareness we experience during meditation is more valuable than ever. Not surprisingly, the number of people suffering from stress, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic health problems is on the rise—and many are searching for peace of mind. The most direct way to experience inner silence and well-being is through meditation; a tool to rediscover the body’s own inner intelligence. Scientific research reveals that when you meditate, your breathing slows, blood pressure decreases, and stress hormone levels fall. Bio: Rossana is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher as well as a Primordial Sound Meditation Teacher certified through the Chopra Institute. She is also Certified as a Shamanic Life Coach as well as a Practitioner of Traditional Usui Reiki. Her lifestyle coaching, workshops and classes blend ancient Kundalini yoga exercises, and breathwork with Native American teachings and Quantum physics to help clients understand and experience the true nature of their reality.
