Join us to explore the rich history and multi-sensory traditions of México’s beloved 3,000-year-old tradition commemorating loved ones who have passed away. This year, together with community partners La Marqueta, Public Markets NYC , Union Settlement and Uptown Grand Central, we will present a day of art-making workshops led by artist educators, live music and dance performances, and a community ofrenda (altar) designed by a local artist. It all happens in the heart of El Barrio at La Placita in La Marqueta. FREE, In-person at La Placita at La Marqueta (116th Street and Park Avenue) Pre-registration is suggested.
