Families of 6-12th grade students are invited. This event offers an opportunity to hear from representatives of universities, colleges and professional programs about their programs and what they have to offer, as well as what is required in order to apply. Breakfast will be provided! About GEAR UP: Wonderful College Prep Academy’s GEAR UP Program is a federally funded program focused on increasing access to higher education among students in the Central Valley. We provide academic resources and services that are instrumental to making college a reality for over 1,500 seventh and eighth grade students in the Central Valley. About Pathways: Go from high school to a high-paying salary with an early college degree. Our Pathways programs are a no-cost opportunity to graduate from high school with a two-year college degree from Bakersfield College. Classes count for both high school and college credit so you are ready to tackle college in half the time and cost!
