Can you think of a time when we need prayer more than today?
Once again, on November 22, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the people of the Panhandle will join together in prayer for the 33nd time at the Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast, giving thanks to God for the blessings He has bestowed on our community and asking for His continued guidance for our city, state, and national leaders.
This year, Josh McDowell will be our featured speaker. A trailblazer for truth and relationships, Josh has been at the forefront of cultural trends and ground-breaking ministry for six decades. Josh shares the essentials of the Christian faith in everyday language so that youth, families, churches, leaders and individuals of all ages are prepared for the life of faith and the work of the ministry. Since 1961, Josh has delivered approximately 27,200 talks to over 25,200,000 people in 126 countries. He has written or co-authored 151 books, including More Than a Carpenter. He also authored Evidence That Demands a Verdict, recognized by World Magazine as one of the twentieth century’s top 40 books.
We hope you will join us at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22nd at the Amarillo Civic Center North Exhibit Hall to hear Josh’s powerful message, but more importantly, to pray and acknowledge our community’s dependence on God. Tables of eight are available for $200 and will be assigned in the order received. Seating is determined on a first-come basis, so please don’t delay.
Please prayerfully consider your support of the Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast. We hope you will join us as we celebrate the start of Thanksgiving week.
