I am posting about my previous gig working for a nice, older lady on a small organic farm near Lacomb. This is a 1099 gig with the possibility of year-round work. Would be best for someone who lives in Lebanon/Albany or is willing to drive from nearby areas. It is usually 1 day a week but could be up to 2 or 3 days if there’s more to do such as in the summer, and depending on your skillset. You should expect a minimum of 6-8 hours a week. Some contribution toward gas may be negotiated for Corvallis, Albany, etc. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to learn new skills in a lot of different areas. See below for examples: Some of the things I have done are bring in firewood; clean; plant, harvest, and fertilize in the garden; move compost to the garden; shake rugs; fold laundry; organize; fermentation set-up and repacking; move things around the farm in wagons; set the garden and house up for the next season; lots of digging and occasionally using other tools such as a drill, circular saw, screwdriver, wrench, etc; weed eating.
