Description

This cleanup will be held on the land, however, you can bring your own kayak to pick up trash on the water as well. No kayaks will be provided. This cleanup is organized by me, Hailey McCormick, for my senior capstone project at Columbia Central High School. Through this project I hope spread awareness and vocalize the importance of water pollution prevention. Our Duck River is a water source for many and is home to many species. Access to clean water is vital in everything we do, so it is important that we keep our rivers clean and trash free.
