***Please note this is a school -specific community event*** The ARES Annual Turkey Trot and Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is back by popular demand! Gates will open at 7:00am for sign-in. Race starts at 8:00am. Run, jog, walk or skip your way to the finish line! Following the race, we will have a Pancake Breakfast (suggested donation $5 or more - not mandatory), and a sliming of the principal!! The class with the most participants will get to do the honors, as well as the winners(s) of the t-shirt art contest! So, get the entire family involved. Race route will be outside of school grounds through Paseo Del Sol neighborhood. Children MUST be supervised by an adult. T-shirt, race bib, and breakfast are included in your registration fee - Parents, if you volunteer you will get $5 off your registration fee - just register as a volunteer. This is a great way to meet new parents and make sure this event goes off with a bang! Come hangout and help, it will be tons of fun! Terms & Conditions All people signed up either electronically on this site or by another method, are signing up for the 11th Annual Abby Reinke Turkey Trot 5K held on November 13th, 2022. By signing up and/or participating, you acknowledge that you are over 18 and that you assume all risk in your family’s participation in this PTA-sponsored activity. By participating in the event, I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself and heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, forever waive release and discharge the California State PTA, all PTA officers, employees and agents from all liability, claims or demands for any damage, loss or injury to the student, the student’s property, or parent’s property or to myself in connection with participation in these activities, unless caused by neglect of the PTA. I do hereby certify that to the best of my (our) knowledge and belief said parties are in good health. In case of illness or accident, permission is granted for emergency treatment to be administered. It is further understood and agreed that participant(s) will assume full responsibility for any such action, including payment of costs. I attest and verify that I am physically fit and able to participate in the event and acknowledge that I am aware of the inherent risks in participating in any athletic event. PLEASE NOTE: By reserving a ticket to this event, you are acknowledging that pictures of children attending the event will be taken, and by your child attending this event, you are giving ARES PTA the option to use the picture on both the arespta.org website and/or social media. That said, we will do our best to honor any take-down request if you email us the picture tell ARES PTA which child is yours—this is not a guarantee of removal, however. No pictures will be used for-profit purposes.
