BRINGING THE PROTECTIVE FACTORS FRAMEWORKÂ TO LIFE IN YOUR WORK
If you are a family service provider, this training will enhance your efforts to partner with parents and see families from a more positive, strength-based perspective. Extensive research about the five Protective Factors has shown that using this framework makes families stronger, prevents child abuse and neglect, and enables families to care for children in ways that support their healthy development and well- being.
PART II addresses the following factors: Concrete Support in Times of Need, Social and Emotional Competence in Children and Parental Resilience.
** YOU MUST ATTEND PART I OF THIS TRAINING IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN PART II.
The cost for attendees outside of Madera County is $25.00 per day. Please remit a check made payable to First 5 Madera County at your earliest convenience. Madera County attendees may attend at no cost.
