Join us for a Girls Rock ride with Juliana Bicycles | Santa Cruz Bicycles factory on the Westside, in the Old Wrigley Building, Saturday November 19. ALL LEVELS WELCOME! Be prepared for our rides! Read What to Expect Schedule 9:00 - 9:00 am — Check-in (registration is mandatory for all riders, volunteers, guides), add a Clif Bar to your pack 9:30am — Volunteer guide meeting 9:45 am — Mandatory rider meeting, followed by raffle with prizes from generous donors 10:00 am — Break into groups by level, roll out to our fav Santa Cruz trails (we'll be near Wilder and UCSC!) 12:00 – 2:00pm — Riders return to Juliana/SCB to refuel, shop & socialize. Return times will vary by group. Location & Parking Westside Farmer's Market is the same day, so parking will be scarce. Arrive early to find nearby street parking. We will meet at Santa Cruz Bicycles factory, 2841 Mission St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060. Please park and unload on area streets , and bring your bike, helmet, etc. to the factory showroom. Bike or carpool to the event, and ask for an extra raffle ticket! Important Reminders -Health: If you don’t feel well, please stay home. Bring a mask to wear if you cannot socially distance. Covid-19 protocols include proof of vaccination or a negative test for all riders, no exceptions. PCR tests must be taken within 48 hours and rapid tests within 24 hours of the ride. Records should have your name and test/vaccine date and match your ride registration. Get free professional testing near you using the CA testing site locator. -Safety: Mountain biking is a dangerous sport. When you come riding with us, we assume that you have reviewed risks and accept responsibility for your personal safety. Learn more. Bring your helmet, eye protection, water, sunscreen/long sleeves/long socks; and a mountain bike in good working order -Prepare to ride: MTB takes energy and strength, so eat breakfast, pack water and snacks for your ride with us. -Don't be sorry! Bring locks to secure bikes after the ride; do not leave valuables unattended -Stay tuned for demo news.
