Black Sheep Gathering is a fiber, knitting, and spinning event that takes place late June at the Albany Fairgrounds every year. The event website is http://www.blacksheepgathering.org/ One wonderful volunteer is needed to help with Workshops Registrations! Registration is handled online using our event software, Cvent. We especially need someone computer/technically savvy who can help onsite during Black Sheep with new registrations. Tasks include: learning our CVent registration process - entering workshop information, dates, and costs handling/monitoring registration from when it begins in April until BSG ends. emails from workshop participants, cancellation requests creating spreadsheets of workshop information to be used at BSG creating a spreadsheet of workshop totals to be used by our accountants for paying the teachers Most of the hours of time needed happen beginning in April, with more time needed during June and leading up to/through when Black Sheep begins. We have a wonderful crew of volunteers who help make registration smooth during the event itself, so Coordinators can enjoy the event too. Registration Coordinator is a great opportunity to see how a large workshop event is run behind-the-scenes, and great resume experience.
