42 Year-Old Bassist looking for Guitarist(s) and Drummer to start an original band. My Family and I relocated to Westchester during COVID. Since 2008, I spent most of my time back in NYC practicing, recording and gigging with a few different Metal Bands. I was fortunate enough to play at some fantastic venues ranging from Saint Vitus to the Studio at Webster Hall. Now that I have a Wife, a Son and a Day Job, I’m looking for something casual. Honestly, I just miss playing music, getting into the zone and having a release. Not looking for anything too serious, but I’m hoping to find other musicians who share the same passion for rehearsing music and getting a set ready in order to play shows. I’m looking for musicians who are into the modern Stoner/Psychedelic Rock/Metal Scene. Think: Elder, King Buffalo, Abrams, Lowrider, Baroness, Elephant Tree, Torche, All Them Witches… I have a full rig and know how to sing and scream. My early bass influences are Pink Floyd, Tool, Rage, STP and the first 3 Metallica albums. BUT, if you really want to throw down, I still have chops, can scream for over a minute, and love Bolt Thrower, Vein.FM, Plague Years, Jesus Piece, Power Trip, Botch and Cave-In.
