Join us in May and see why Ohiopyle is considered the Crown Jewel of the Commonwealth!! “Great Allegheny” Ohiopyle Half Marathon, 10k & 5k DATES Saturday, May 15th 2021 5k & 10k — Starting and ending on the Great Allegheny Passage with the routes going to the right (This is an out & back course.) Sunday, May 16th 2021 1/2 Marathon — Starting and ending on the Great Allegheny Passage with the routes going to the left (This is an out & back course.) The courses will run along the Great Allegheny Passage Rail Trail which is flat and fast! The scenery will RIVAL any race in the country! Runners will cross bridges over rivers and see majestic waterfalls with beauty abound. Ohiopyle is often referred to as the Crown Jewel of the Commonwealth! Half Marathon map 10k map 5k map BIB PICKUP & REGISTRATION Saturday — Pickup will begin at 6:30 AM at the start/finish line. Runners can pick up for the Sunday event at this time as well. Sunday — Pickup will begin at 6:30 AM at the start/finish line PARKING You will find parking in the lot next the Start/Finish line, as well as plenty of parking lots within walking distance nearby. AID STATIONS There will be un-manned aid stations with water and Gatorade (half marathon only) about every two miles. We will also have paramedics on course. AWARDS Top 3 — Male & Female Top Masters — Male & Female (40+) Age Groups — Half Marathon 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ Age Groups — 5K & 10K 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ T-SHIRTS Amazing race themed short sleeve tech shirts. FINISHER MEDALS Unique medal symbolic for Ohiopyle will be awarded to all participants in the 1/2, 10k & 5k.
