Title should say it all. Our pre-covid band (Dr. Dave and and Outbreak) is still on hiatus due to COVID (two members are physicians who are still social distancing in consideration of their patients). I play guitar mainly, and bass in a pinch. Bass-baritone vocals (think Johnny Cash, Tennessee Ernie Ford). So, who wants to jam? Here are some genres/artists that I like. Classic (50s/60s) Country/Honky Tonk/Rockabilly. Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Buck Owens, Link Wray, etc. Power Pop/New Wave (Blondie, The Nazz, Ramones, Badfinger, Gin Blossoms, Rockpile, Dave Edmunds 60s English Garage Soul/R&B (Them, Animals, early Stones,...) Surf and instrumental I have a family room with guitar and bass amps, and enough room for two or three people to jam, but unfortunately, it's not big enough for a drum kit. Hope to hear from interested folks in the Oak Park/RF/Forest Park/Berwyn/Elmwood Park area. I have refrigerator full of beer. Let's have some fun. Mark K.
