PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE CONTACTING ME, thank you. All white chihuahua mix for rehoming. She was my grandfathers dog and he did NOT take care of her due to him having too many dogs. She was infested with fleas, looks malnourished, was kept outside and has not seen a vet in I’m not sure how long. She’s about 3 yrs old (per my grandfather) and small. I do not have an exact weight but she may be around 10-12 pounds compared we ER to my small dog (picture at the end). When we took her home she has been very sweet. She was covered in fleas so we gave her a bath in dawn dish soap and gave her a capstar for fleas. She was very sweet throughout her bath, she ate for me and allowed me to pick her up and all. My grandfather did not do his best in taking care of this sweet dog (I am not close with him so I did not know about the situation in its entirety sooner). She has a small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to the right home. She is not fixed or up to date on shots so she will need that as soon as possible. I would keep her but I already have 3 dogs, a cat and a newborn and that is too much for me at the moment. Especially with introducing a small dog with my two bigger dogs and trying to potty train her. I don’t have any other information other than she has a litter a couple months ago and the puppies all died. I’m sure due to the flea infestation. I am in no rush to find her the perfect loving, caring, and patient home for her. Someone who can get her seen by a vet, spoil her with clothes and toys and most importantly keep her inside. Thank you in advance! Must be able to pick her up in Clayton as well.
