Hey! Is there anybody out there doing their own stuff? I've posted here before but mostly I hear from cover bands. I like a good cover as much as the next person, but really I'm into artistic expression more than just dollars and cents these days. I'm not afraid of experimental stuff and have a lot of experience both with traditional and the avant garde. I've been around the block quite a few times and in my younger days back in the 80's did my share of pro work and touring, but now I'm just looking to have some fun playing, creating and exhibiting said creations to the public. I use traditional acoustic drums but I'm happy to augment with electronics as well -percussive, synth, or ambient, no rules no restrictions, just pure unbridled joy! Worldbeat, cyberpunk, twisted covers, whatever works. I'm up for an adventure! Who's with me?
