Guitarist/Vocalist seeking band members

I play guitar and sing. My writing style is influenced by a lot of different bands, from Blue Murder to FFDP. I am currently in my early 50's, but have stayed in good shape and still sing/play daily. I am looking to put a band together with musicians that feel like they have mastered their instruments, have paid their dues and have gotten absolutely nowhere as a musician (usually due to poor song writing and at least one weak link.) Here is where I will loose a lot of you. I have some really good music written and this is the direction I plan on taking this project. I am not a dictator, but the foundations are set for a cd's worth of music. I want people who can add tasty fills and make the songs their own, but the foundations are solid already. (I will send you links to some music, but please be certain your really into it before wasting my time). I am not a screamer, and my music contains no crazy speed drums. This is heavy hitting hard rock/metal that is easy to bang your head too. I have no desire to pack up a u-haul and play shitty bars. BUT, I do believe that if you have really good music, really good musicians and a REALLY good recording, you can market a project and have it become quite popular. I want to play live, I just want to do it the right way...... I have a nice place to practice/write, with all the amenities - just need to find the right people who are tired of playing with slackers.
