Any drummers out there want to play Tourette’s by Nirvana on America’s got talent? I’m really looking for something long-term someone willing to tour play live shows rehearse record. Also willing to dive into new experimental music at some point. Requirements: Have source of income Have your own pro gear Have your own transportation And have an all consuming desire to play music as a career I think that’s a lot to ask for most musicians but I have a place we can rehearse at, unfortunately we will have to tear down every time we leave but hey it’s free. About me: I am 32 have about 20 years experience I mean hard-core experience I have at least 10 years of just practicing I have played big shows in Hollywood and toured the West Coast with punk bands my musical influences are way too vast to start listing on here but I want to start a real rock band 95% originals I have about three albums worth of composed material ready to go and I know about the business I did it professionally for five years and made the same amount of money that I making now it’s a lot of hard work but it’s a lot of fun and who knows we might get that record deal Hit me up and we can meet up somewhere to jam or get drinks just hang out whatever right now man in focus is to create the core of the band if I have a drummer backing me up I can do shows by myself I don’t like to it’s not as fun there’s definitely something lacking from the music when that happens but I need a drummer first and foremost and if you’re a bass player to hit me up it would be really cool they get like a five piece bound together to where everyone focuses on one thing and the music is just phenomenal but I can do the power trio thing too I just wanna have fun and make money. One thing that I’ve learned in the music business is if you have a core of even just two people that are willing to make it work And see things through when things get shitty everything else kind of falls into place.. not really but every working band that I’ve seen on tour was like that Oh also one more thing I forgot I don’t care if you do drugs but if the drugs are doing you, stay the fuck away from me.
