Why? – Sadly, I am struggling in my kennel and the shelter euthanizes dogs not coping well. I am a loving dog! We ask all of you to go to meet Stormie ASAP. She doesn't deserve to be put down because a non-caring person dumped her in a shelter. STORMIE: #A4614576 (Dog friendly but no small ones) I’m a 2-yr-old, spayed, brown/white Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Terrier. (48 lbs.). Sadly, I was surrendered because my owner got bitten breaking up a squabble over treats between me and the other dog in the home. I am not aggressive! In fact, I’m a “good-natured, friendly, “super-sweet” girl that listens well. I have a gentle, dainty manner, will “sit” for treats and take them gently, and LOVE being petted. I walk better when harnessed. I’m required to go to a home with no small animals, and I’m best suited for a home with older children. PLEASE REMEMBER!! This dog has been living in a high-stress environment and will need time to de-stress and relax!! She will need a quiet home with structure and routine. It is possible that with a SLOW INTRODUCTION, I could live with another larger dog.
