Job Summary We are in search of a Household / Personal Assistant who will work one on one with the owner of our company. This position is going to be a blend of 75% household assistant duties with 25% personal assistant responsibilities. This work would be for the busy owner for the company here in Ames, IA. Local preferred ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Housekeeping including cleaning, laundry, wash dishes, clean appliances, cabinets, hardwood floor cleaning, etc. • Grocery shopping, other shopping • Clean car, take car to oil change visits and other necessary repairs • Run errands, like drycleaning pickup • Water plants • Miscellaneous errands as needed • Preparing a couple meals a week (possibly though not required) • IF DESIRED: we can also provide a path to work in our company, such as an administrative assistant duties QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to handle household duties and tasks • Demonstrates strong organizational skills • Willingness to develop personal assistant skills over time • Comfort with performing tasks outside the job title • Time management skills • Interpersonal skills
