Roofing Repair Technician/Estimator Job Details: Hourly + Commission (Based on Experience) Job Type Full-time Qualifications: - Experience as a Roofing Technician/Estimator - Must have knowledge with Florida Building Codes - Must be able to carry and operate a 1 story or 2 story ladder - Must have valid drivers license and own transportation for commute - Must have knowledge of shingles, metal, tile and modified bitumen - Sales Experience and Customer Service skills - Excellent attention to detail - Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment - Can walk on all roof types, varying pitches and heights - Can maneuver confidently and skillfully on high pitch and multiple story roofs - Professional Appearance and strong people skills - Highly self-motivated with a desire to succeed Full Job Description: Advantage Roofing has a proud tradition of roofing installation, replacement, repair and restoration. We are currently seeking a full time Roofing Repair Technician/Estimator with the following qualifications: - Previous roofing installation experience with knowledge of various roofing systems - Able to lift up to 80 pounds - Able to climb roofs of varying pitches and heights - Problem solver - Portray a positive company image while engaging with homeowners - Leads will be provided but you are expected to build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads - Communicate clearly with customers and understand there needs - Be able to speak knowledgably about our products and services offered - Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication throughout the sales process, as well as remain a point of contact throughout the process - Inspect and identify issues for proper repair - Reviewing the scope of work for materials needed for repair - Perform roofing service related tasks such as roof leak detection and repair on all types of flat and steep sloped roof systems Applicants please contact us by email at [email protected] or our office (407) 678-9721
