I work with individuals who are seeking to enhance their ability to communicate comfortably and freely in their careers, the classroom, and in front of others. I have worked with keynote speakers, international students, and professionals to help them communicate with increased self-confidence, more clarity, and overcome their accent barriers. The concerns my students typically have before they start classes are: ⁃ People don’t understand what I’ve just said ⁃ I’m often asked to repeat myself ⁃ I’ve been living and working here for years, but I still have an accent and would like to improve it ⁃ I make grammatical errors when speaking and writing ⁃ I lack confidence when speaking in front of others and don’t want to be judged ⁃ I feel anxious when speaking English Teaching brings a high sense of meaning to my life.
