Living Thanksgiving Centerpiece Workshop Date & Time: Thursday, November 17 | 4:00pm - 5:30pmCost: $125 per personCapacity: 15 PeopleLocation: Cafe Pavilion at Cornell FarmThis fall, you're invited to Cornell Farm to create a living centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table! Under the guidance of Weina Dinata of Poppy & Finch design studio, you'll use native plants, natural materials, and festive touches to craft a unique custom centerpiece that is one part horticulture, one part floral design, and 100% fun and festive. Plus, after the holiday, you'll have a living native plant ready for your garden — a win-win for both you and nature! Discover Weina's tips and tricks for effortless flower arranging, plus learn about the important role that native plants can play in creating habitat, even on a small scale. Bring a friend or make a few new ones as you prepare to celebrate the holiday in a more sustainable way with this informal, hands-on workshop. Light refreshments and wine from our Cafe are provided. All materials are supplied, including the container, native plants, organic materials, festive holiday touches, woodland decorations, and more. Plus, attendees will be sent home with a print featuring knowledge, care instructions, and other resources to help you walk away feeling empowered to help the insects and birds in our city with your one-of-a-kind, sustainable mini-habitat living centerpiece for the holiday season and beyond! Cancellations & Refund Policy: In the event your plans change, refunds for in-person event registrations are offered in the form of store credit up until one week before the event start, after which point we can only offer refunds if we are successfully able to fill your spot from the waitlist. While tickets may not be refundable after this period, they are always transferrable if you would like to offer your registration to another person in your life. (Please note: We cannot refund Eventbrite's processing fees.)
