We called Ikea a few days ago about buying a couple of large desktops. They said no problem we can deliver for $50. We said great so we went and bought them. Then we stood in a damn line for an hour only to be told that the next possible delivery date is a month from now. Would have been nice if they told us that before they took the delivery money. So instead of dealing with these asshats, we will give that money to someone local who can use it, and get our money back from ikea.
There are two items. They are each about 4 ft wide and 8 ft long. They are just table tops. Nothing more. Would fit in any pickup easily. Ikea charges 50 for the delivery, but we can pay $75 if there is someone that can handle the job in the next couple days. Delivery will be made to lake Wylie in belmont. The distance from here to the IKEA store is a little over 15 miles each way. I can help you load and unload. Not a hard job.
