Product Scanner / Sorter for E-Commerce Bookseller in Orange, CA. SRS Books, an E-Commerce Bookseller, has openings for Scanners / Sorters in our Orange warehouse. Job Duties: Use an scanner to sort books into resale channels. Quickly decide if books are in a good enough condition to be resold. Keep and maintain a clean and orderly work space and warehouse environment. Unloading and loading product. Job Requirements: Work and make decisions fast. Able to work with little instruction. Must be punctual, dependable and regular in attendance. Physical Requirements: Able to stand, bend, stoop, lift, reach, toss, stack, sort and be mobile for entire shift. Able to load product into boxes, storage totes, shelves and carts. Able to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to various temperature extremes (hot in summer, cold in winter) and moderate dust. Able to lift and carry up to fifty pounds. Warehouse Equipment: Use warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand truck, 4-wheeled cart, etc.; to move product inside, outside of and within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload truck, handling merchandise using proper techniques and equipment. Ability to drive forklift when needed to move merchandise in a safe and efficient manner is a plus, but not required. HIRING NOW!
