Lead Guitarist that sings lead vocals, wanted for new classic rock band and more. We are a keyboardist/lead vocalist and a lead/rhythm guitarist/lead vocalist looking for another guitarist. You may not necessarily be the fastest or flashiest guitarist, but one that will be able to perform precise parts to songs and some solos to songs that need to have the original solo played because most people expect that solo with that song. Though, most solo work will be improvisational instead of copied. We are looking for a guitar player/lead singer that doesn't mind being in a band with 40, 50, 60 year old members. This is not your average rock band. We are doing higher level rock songs with more substance, more sophistication, more musical depth, and is more demanding of the musicians than the average rock songs. The recorded arrangements of most cover songs will be used, but sometimes an original arrangement will be used if we feel we have some good ideas and the song will be improved in our estimation. Or, we might change a section or passage a little for the better to help improve the overall song. Some musical technics that are not often used will be used in this band as an extension of our creative and thorough effort to exhibit songs in a complete representation. Vocal technics such as: Three part vocal harmony will be abundant. Lead vocalists with three- part back-up harmony. Four part parallel and extended vocal harmony, (all parts use different notes, not just one part doubled an octave from the copied one). And four-part harmony in contrapuntal motion. Instrumental technics such as: Instrumental lead parts and solos in double and triple parts. (2 lead guitars and synth), four-part instrumental leads, (2 lead guitars and synth with two hands for original arrangement sections), and five-part instrumental lead passages, (2 lead guitars, two hand synth parts, and bass part written as leads or harmonized solos, also for original arrangement sections).
