Join former Bartlett Director of Education and environmental educator, Mike Belletzkie for a guided tour of the Cemetery Trail and Potter’s Field. For over a century, Potter’s Field acted as a resting place for Stamford’s poor and unclaimed. This tour will explore its rich history, including who is buried there and why, a history of the transition from the time it closed to the present day, including a headline-grabbing and tragic unsolved mystery in the 1970s.
An experienced environmentalist and biologist, Mike will also discuss the ecological and arboricultural significance of this special area.
