Saturday, November 5th, at the WSU Metroplex (95015 E 29th St N,) Live Well offers free diabetes-related screenings and tests, blood pressure, lipid, and foot checks, as well as flu and COVID vaccinations – as long as supplies last. The event runs from 8 am to 12:30. Bring your family and friends and get Diabetes Smart, and Warrior Strong at the 2022 Live Well With Diabetes. See the latest in diabetes treatments, supplies, services. Presentations by pharmacists, diabetes educators, medical providers, physical activity specialists. Free lunch for the first 100 registered and present at 11:30 am. Join in the recognition of all those living with diabetes-Diabetes Heros. Lunch and recognition at 11:30 am. Followed by a Burning Questions session with Brad Newell, PharmD and Lindy Childs, APRN. UNLIMITED attendance so come join, what will be limited is how much food we have ordered!
