First Session - Designs for Group Communications (5pm - 6pm | 1 IDCEC and AIA Credit) Develop a basic understanding of group communication and how it helps facilitate a sense of community within a group. Become familiar with materials that can help create effective group collaboration environments, the benefits of being heard and feeling connected within a group on mental health, and how to create sensory friendly 3rd space/group and focused work spaces within the work and education environments. Second Session - Healthy Materials (6:30pm - 7:30pm | 1 IDCEC, AIA, and GBCI Credit) Join Humanscale for a discussion around how the materials we use directly and indirectly impact human health and the environment and what we can do as a design community to insist on transparency and make informed decisions around what we put in our projects.
