WasteNot in partnership with our friends at The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce are hosting a first-ever event: It’s A Smash! An Ecofest Pumpkin Smash Festival on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 11AM-5PM in the heart of Andersonville at 1500 W Catalpa Ave, Chicago, IL 60640. Join us along with 20+ sustainable food, bev, and crafts/entertainment vendors for a day focused on smashing good fun & sustainable destruction for all ages. Admission is free, a suggested donation of $5 is appreciated and supports Andersonville Chamber of Commerce sustainable programming. Smashing is a small fee, with different ticket options. This is a BYOP--bring your own pumpkin(s) event. Please bring your pumpkins and get your smash on so we can divert all those pumpkins from the landfill and green your post-Halloween! Smashing at the event is ticketed and tickets are non-refundable. Attendees must sign a waiver in order to smash, for those under the age of 18, a guardian must be able to sign. Failure to sign a waiver will not result in a refund. This event is rain or shine.
