Description
Greetings, everyone! Fathers, Families, & Healthy Communities (FFHC) is hosting a Fatherhood Forum at Chicago Beyond, Tuesday, October 25, from 2-4 pm, to discuss the vital relationship between the topics of fatherhood, restorative justice, and community safety. To prepare for the Fatherhood Forum, FFHC held a series of restorative meetings with local fathers, both young and older, to examine the root causes of Chicago's violence epidemic and propose solutions to the public health crisis. Emerging from these restorative meetings are a set of recommendations aimed at creating safe and peaceful communities for fathers and their families. To advance this timely conversation, we invite stakeholders, including youth, families, and community leaders, to further discuss these recommendations and their implications. The Chicago Fund for Safe and Peaceful Communities provided funding support for this initiative. Please RSVP for the Fatherhood Forum by Tuesday, October 18, at CST via Eventbrite.
