Who: IIDA Members and Friends What: Art & Advocacy - Lincoln Join you fellow Nebraska members for advocacy updates and a printmaking workshop at Constellation Studios! Tour the studio and learn of the making of a print from hand-made paper to the presses, and then make one-of-a-kind prints. Ink and designs will be transferred from plexi-plates to paper with an inevitable surprise. A wide array of colors will be used enabling multiple layers and unusual mixing. Guidance and demos of techniques will spark ideas and sharing. All for experimentation and creative fun! Constellation Studios is a creative destination for artists in Lincoln, Nebraska. In a professional studio we explore and celebrate the interconnections between traditional and innovative print, paper and bookmaking. Artists and community join for workshops, artist residencies, gallery exhibitions, public events. Constellation Studios is the live/work project of internationally renowned artist/printmaker Karen Kunc. Kunc’s prints and artist books have been shown in exhibitions nationally and internationally and are held in numerous collections.
