Come SWAP PLANTS, get answers to any of you plant-related questions during a PLANT CARE Q&A event, and lastly, help us rehome plants during our ADOPT A PLANT hour during the Female Fall Fest, Saturday November 5th, 11am-6pm. PLANT SWAP - 11am-12:30pm Come swap plants, seeds, herbs and garden tools with other plant enthusiasts from 11am to 12:30pm! What is a plant swap? A plant swap is a space for trading more than just plants with other plant lovers and gardeners alike; it is also a fun opportunity to broaden your plant knowledge and collect new plants, cuttings or seeds that you might not otherwise find in stores! You may even find that your fellow gardeners can answer some of your more nagging questions! And regardless of your reason for coming, plant people are excellent conversationalists. Participation rules and helpful reminders: 1. You must register (FREE) for the event using Eventbrite. 2. You must bring plant, seeds, herbs or tools in order to participate in swapping. No exceptions! 3. Plants must be pest-free, disease-free, and fully-alive to trade. 4. Plants should be easy to transport (i.e. in containers, pots, cuttings wrapped in a wet paper towel, etc.) Please do not bring cuttings in cups full of water as it's not a convenient way to transport them home. If you choose to bring cuttings, please prepare them prior to the plant swap by wrapping them in a wet paper towel surrounded by either plastic wrap or a baggie. If you need any tips on how to properly prepare your cuttings, feel free to email [email protected] 5. The more plants you bring, the more trades you can make! Laganini Co. will provide some plants for swapping, however, most plants and items for swapping will be brought by YOU! There will also be a PLANT RAFFLE. Anyone who participates in the plant swap can enter to win! PLANT CARE Q&A - 2:30-4:40pm CALLING ALL HOUSEPLANT PARENTS! Do you have a plant you love, but is suffering some health issues? Or do you have a plant that needs to be repotted, but you are unsure of how to do it? Join Filipa, the founder of Laganini Co., for an interactive Q&A from 2:30-4:30pm, where she'll answer any of your plant care questions. You can even bring any plant that needs to be repotted (new planters not provided) and learn how to repot it with her for a small service fee. Filipa will share some unique tips & tricks, and take questions about any of your indoor plant concerns. No registration required. ADOPT A PLANT - 5-6pm Join us for our "Adopt a Plant" hour from 5-6pm. All plants will be provided by Laganini Co. and will be up for grabs and FREE! Unlike the Plant Swap, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING A PLANT to get a plant. These plants will either need a little bit of love, or are leftovers from previous plant swaps. So come help us find new forever homes for these plants in need! You might be surprised by what you find! This event is first come, first served, while supplies last. No registration required. Other Info about the Fall Femme Fest: Stay and Support Local at the First Annual Fall Femme Fest! The Female Maker Market, est. in 2020, will be hosting over 100 local women in business as well as supporting a CommUNITY filled with empowerment and celebration of women in business. There will be Food Trucks, Live Entertainment including Orange County favorite, Music of Lola and her band + DJ BSelecta spinning your favorites. There will be the OC Tap Truck on site pouring seasonal favorites as well as a Succulent making station for the kids, Dry Flower Pressed Tattoos, and much more!
