Pumpkin Carving with Goats Class at Flowertown Charm FarmCome visit our urban mini-farm, Flowertown Charm Farm, in Summerville, South Carolina to Carve your Fall Pumpkins and do it in the company of our friendly goats and their farm friends! We were the FIRST to start goat yoga here in the Lowcountry back in 2018 which is still going strong, and the first to offer farm snuggle sessions and Paint & Wine with Goats Classes! And now we are excited to also introduce Pumpkin Carving with Goats to the Lowcountry as well! Did you know goats love pumpkin?? And it is also very good for them! It is a natural dewormer! You can carve your pumpkin and feed them all the scraps! That sounds even better than a pumpkin spice latte! 4 Baby Goats were born Sept 24 and are here! Follow us on social for updates: @flowertowncharm Guests will get a pumpkin to carve. We have tall tables and chairs in our backyard farm to do your carving on, and you can just feed your scraps right to the goats at your feet. Our pigs, chickens, bunny, and giant tortoise will also be there to help clean up all the pumpkin mess! Should be so much fun! Dress for a mess though! Included: 1 average size pumpkin to carve and take home. We will provide carving utensils, carving stencils to choose from, and time to spend with our silly farm animals. You may also BYOB. No outside food or pumpkins permitted. You may bring your own carving tools if you have special ones you like. Please dress to get a little messy, we cannot promise the goats won't try to rub pumpkin mess on you and this is still a farm. Also wear closed toes shoes. We only have about 16 people here at one time for pumpkin carving so it’s much more intimate, less crowded, and enjoyable than many other fall events around the lowcountry. Well behaved kids only! Please no running, chasing, teasing, or harassing the animals. Want the animals all to yourselves? We also host private events here for birthdays, bachelorettes, work, or just because! We also host goat yoga classes, farm snuggle sessions, paint & wine with goats classes, intro to goats & chickens classes, and have an off-grid treehouse, Flowertown Charm Off-Grid, we rent to guests in Western North Carolina on 23 private acres. Parking is limited here at our farmhouse, guests please park tightly in our front yard round-a-bout around the founatin. not in the driveway. Driveway is reserved for Airbnb guests only. OVERFLOW PARKING at the church at 255 Stallsville Rd and walk to 225 Stallsville. Use the left white gates at the house to enter the yard. All guests are required to have a ticket, whether you're carving a pumpkin or not. Guests who are not carving can still pet and play with all the animals here, take pictures, etc.
